Definition of Quit –discontinue; put an end to a state or an activity; give up; admit defeat. Some people find it easy to quit money management. They think it’s too hard but they don’t realise that if they quit doing it (and assuming no-one else in the household is doing it either) the pain of their financial situation will last even longer. Burying your head in the sand doesn’t work forever either. I know – I’ve been there and done that. The first time you look at your finances, whether it’s through personal finance education or for your money management, it can seem daunting. However think back to the first time you rode a bike, drove a car or did whatever you do for a living – didn’t they seem daunting too? There has been something in your life that seemed tough at the start and which you’re used to now. Money management is the same. It’s not something that needs to be done every minute of every day and once you’ve created a system that suits you it’ll become easier. If you want at least some wealth success then someone in your household needs to do some money management (and if you live on your own it’s you!). If you don’t want to do this for yourself and you have children then think that you are doing it for them. The earlier people start money management the easier it can be for them and starting when they are a child means that money management will become a good habit for them. If you were helping someone else the chances are that you wouldn’t quit on that person, so don’t quit on yourself. Wealth Quote : “Pain is temporary. It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it lasts forever.”~ Lance Armstrong
