At the end of the last newsletter you were going to decide what you were going to give up to achieve the success you deserve. In this newsletter we are going to look at who is responsible for your life. Yes I mean the bad bits as well as the good bits.

US President Harry Truman had a sign on his desk that said "The buck stops here". In his view the President was the one that had to make the tough choices and the buck couldn't be passed to anyone else.

So does the buck stop with you in your life or are you passing the buck to other people?

People who are successful take 100% responsibility for their lives. Not 100% of the good stuff and 0% of the bad stuff - 100% for ALL of it.

Now the word responsibility can instil fear or joy into a person depending on how they look at it. One definition of responsibility is 'a burden of obligation upon one who is responsible'. It's not surprising some people don't like the word if they think of it as a burden. However another definition is 'chargeable with being the author or cause'. So that definition simply means that you are the cause of your actions because you are the one doing the deciding. The buck stops with you!

So if you are at the cause of your life, that means that you can choose to do anything you want with it. You can choose to make any decision that you want.

Okay some of you may be saying I didn't choose to be.... For example "I didn't choose to be in this job because I don't like it". Well actually you did. For whatever circumstance at that time you decided that taking that job was a good idea. Even staying in it now that you don't like it is still your decision. You could choose to find another job and leave that one. No-one is forcing you to stay. If you say that you can't afford to leave, change that thought to how can you afford to leave? Start opening your mind to all the possibility that is out in the world. There are so many ways to make money, but I'll leave that for another newsletter.

From now on accept 100% responsibility your life if you're not already doing that and let's see what transformations occurs because you are not the victim of your life - you are the victor of it.
